Proper installation is essential to ensure the long-term performance and leak-free operation of the Stainless Steel Press Equal Tee D Type. Please follow the steps below for safe and efficient installation:
1. Preparation
Ensure that the pipes and fittings are clean, dry, and free from oil, dust, or other contaminants.
Check that the press fittings and sealing rings are undamaged and properly positioned inside the socket.
2. Cutting and Deburring
Cut the stainless steel pipe to the required length using a pipe cutter suitable for stainless steel.
Remove all burrs and sharp edges from both the inner and outer sides of the pipe ends to prevent damage to the O-ring.
3. Cleaning
Wipe the pipe ends and fitting sockets with a clean, lint-free cloth to remove metal chips or dirt.
Make sure no foreign material remains inside the fitting.
4. Insertion
Insert the pipe into the press socket until it reaches the marked insertion depth.
Use a marker to draw an alignment mark on the pipe to ensure it does not move during pressing.
5. Mark Press Points
Clearly mark the press points for easy visual inspection after installation. This ensures all joints have been pressed.
6. Pressing Operation
Select the appropriate pressing tool and jaw (compatible with V-profile or M-profile, depending on the system requirement).
Position the jaw correctly on the press point and activate the pressing tool until it completes the cycle.
7. Inspection
Visually check that the alignment marks remain in position and that all joints have been properly pressed.
Perform a pressure or leak test according to local standards or project requirements.
8. Completion
Once all joints have passed inspection, the system can be placed into service.
