Materials and Manufacturing

Products are available in different stainless steel grades to support various hygienic, commercial, and industrial applications. Material selection should be based on the transported medium, operating temperature, system pressure, corrosion conditions, cleaning procedures, and installation environment.

TP304 and SS304 provide good general corrosion resistance for many standard applications. TP316L and SS316L provide improved resistance in environments involving chlorides, chemicals, or more demanding hygienic conditions.

Seamless and welded manufacturing options are available. The appropriate manufacturing method should be selected according to the applicable standard, dimensions, working conditions, inspection requirements, and customer specifications.

Dimensional and Material Standards

Available dimensional standards include 3-A, SMS, IDF, DIN 11850/11851, ISO 2037, BS 4825, and JIS G 3447. Because these standards may use different outside diameters, wall thicknesses, tolerances, and connection dimensions, customers should provide the exact required standard when requesting a quotation.

Material specifications are available according to ASTM A270, ASTM A269, applicable GB standards, and applicable DIN standards.

Products manufactured according to different standards may not be dimensionally interchangeable, even when their nominal sizes appear similar. The outside diameter, wall thickness, weld-end dimensions, tolerances, and surface requirements should be confirmed before production.

Surface Treatment

The internal and external surfaces can be mirror polished to a specified finish, with 320-grit polishing available.

A polished surface helps improve appearance, cleanliness, and resistance to the accumulation of process residues. The required surface condition should be selected according to the intended application and cleaning requirements.

If a project requires a specific roughness value, such as Ra measured in micrometres, the required value and measurement location should be stated separately. A polishing-grit designation does not by itself guarantee a specific Ra value.

LIANHE applies in-process and final inspection procedures throughout raw-material preparation, cutting, machining, forming, welding, surface finishing, testing, marking, and packaging.

Products are inspected before delivery to verify that their materials, dimensions, surfaces, weld areas, connection ends, markings, and packaging comply with the confirmed requirements.

Product Quality Control

Quality-control personnel perform production-line and final inspections. The principal inspection procedures include:

1. Inspecting the outside diameter, wall thickness, material grade, documentation, and surface condition of incoming raw materials.

2. Checking the length, cutting position, and end condition of raw materials after cutting.

3. Inspecting the outside diameter, wall thickness, connection ends, and critical dimensions after machining or forming.

4. Checking weld dimensions, weld appearance, alignment, and surface quality after welding, where applicable.

5. Inspecting the internal and external surfaces after polishing and other surface-treatment procedures.

6. Performing hydrostatic or airtightness testing according to the applicable product and inspection requirements.

7. Inspecting product markings, quantities, packaging materials, labels, and shipping marks before shipment.

Products are released for delivery after completing the applicable inspection procedures.

Packaging

Products are initially protected with bubble wrap or plastic packaging to reduce exposure to dust, moisture, scratches, and surface contamination.

They are then packed in export cartons, wrapped with woven-bag protection where required, and consolidated in wooden cases for international transportation.

Customized cartons, labels, barcodes, pallet packing, customer logos, and other packaging arrangements can be provided according to the confirmed order requirements.

Payment Terms

Our standard payment term is a 30% T/T deposit paid in advance, with the remaining 70% T/T balance paid before delivery. Specific payment conditions can be discussed according to the order value, product requirements, and cooperation arrangements.
